As of January 1, 2026, the 2026 Annual Commission Update (ACU) course is available for real estate brokers. This mandatory 4-hour course is essential to maintain your license status.
The Colorado Real Estate Commission requires all real estate licensees to complete a Commission Update course annually.
When Can You Take It?
You can take the 2026 ACU at any time during the 2026 calendar year. However, it is highly recommended to complete the course early in the year. This course addresses critical topics related to brokerage compliance, general practice issues, and updates on rules, contracts, and legislation. Early completion ensures you stay informed and maintain continuing education compliance for the year.
